BUILD YOUR CONFIDENCE UP EACH WEEK:As we move into December and get closer to the break this becomes a critical point for how we are feeling with our first half of the season. Many goaltenders go home and have certain images playing through their mind good or bad about their game. The images we see, the thoughts we think all contribute to our self confidence. Ultimately our game revolves centrally around our ability to perform. Without being confident there will be no successful performance. This view will be looked at more tomorrow in the Tuesday Mental Training Tip... Remind yourself each day: Stay At Level Zero... No Matter What You Have Already Accomplished __________________________________________________________________________ The kid loves to excite. Ty Edmonds made 46 of 51 saves against Vancouver and helped bring the game into a shootout. In the 2nd period he allowed just one goal on 23 shots against. The Prince George Cougars took this one over the Giants by a score of 6 to 5. This was Eddy's 8th win of the year. Lethbridge faced off against Edmonton on Friday and Sunday. Corbin Boes in total faced 89 shots against - Being on the wrong end both games loosing 3-2 and 2-1 we can say Boes definitely gave his team a chance to win over the weekend. After his teams 5-1 victory over Saskatoon Austin Lotz now sits with a record of 15-3-1. ___________________________________________________________________________ Brian Archibald picked up 2 points for Dauphin to keep their streak alive a little longer into the weekend. The Dauphin Kings trampled over the Waywayseecappo Wolverines by a score of 4-2. The first period has both teams locked at two's until Dauphin broke away with this one. Archibald stopped 20/22 and in the opposing end Mitch Wiebe 40 of 44. The Steinbach Pistons have won their last 5 games, which includes a couple key wins over Divisional opponents the Portage Terriers. Both Nick Deery and Zach Rakochy have been holding their own to keep the Pistons in stride leading into December. Adam Vanderlinden helped the Winkler Flyers to a 5-3 victory Sunday night. The rookie goalie was peppered in this one with 34/37 shots fired his way. In the opposite end Davy Fisher held his own making 36/41 saves on the night. Saturday night Brett Friesen went to work for the Yellowhead Chiefs and made 47 of 49 saves on the night to get a win over the Eastman Selects. The Selects were 0/10 on the Powerplay as Friesen shut the door. From the Interlake Lightning Hayden Dola was able to help his team take down the Norman Northstars with 42/43 saves on Saturday night. From Winnipeg Thrashers (@WPGThrashers: "Thrash kill off their 5th 2-man PK (yup, that's not a typo) and continue to lead 4-0 with under 4:00 to play."_________________________________________________________________________________________
