GDI Off-Season Programs
The hockey season is starting to wind down, It's time to start planning your off-season training. GDI offers a wide variety of off-season programs including the Total GDI Academy and GDI Summer Camps.
Off-Season Total GDI Academy:
With a goaltenders performance on the ice being the main area critiqued and evaluated across Western Canada, GDI Goaltending has created a goaltending academy that incorporates all on-ice aspects that will take the aspiring athlete to new heights. Covering all 4 developmental domains within the position, Physiological, Psychological, Technical, and Equipment, GDI provides each goaltender with the resources they need in order to advance as the season approaches.
Through this academy goaltenders will be able to advance their potential, year by year, through each level of the program eventually leading them into the pro ranks.
These are the anchor to the goaltender’s off-season development needs. These 4 or 5 day camps provide the biggest impact on goaltender performance in a short period of time.
Our camps are very intense and goaltenders will conduct on-ice sessions, fitness testing, flexibility and hand eye training, classroom sessions, daily journals, off-ice dryland, comprehensive evaluation reports and much more. These spots fill up well in advance, don't miss your opportunity to train with GDI.
