Both goalies are looking to make the jump to junior hockey as they're both Western Hockey League prospects with the Prince Albert Raiders (Meger) and the Seattle Thunderbirds (Flodell) Steinbach Pistons goalie Nick Deery travelled from Wisconsin to spend a week with GDI. Deery worked with GDI instructor and Steinbach Pistons goalie coach Dan Ferguson during this past season. Deery will be looked to carry the load for the Pistons this upcoming MJHL season. And then there was Ian Walker who travelled to Winnipeg all the way from China to work with the GDI staff.
