As the season has finished up for many minor hockey players it is now time to look forwarded to preparing for next year! BOOK YOUR 1v1 SPOTS FOR GDI JULY/AUGUST 1v1's:As the month of June progresses the months of July and August are starting to fill up for 1v1 sessions at the centre. We are now open from 9:30AM-9:30PM during the week, 10:00AM-3:00PM Saturday and Sunday. GDI Goalie Jason Kasdorf showed zero signs of rust at the Winnipeg Jets development camp this past week.Kasdorf was forced to have season ending shoulder surgery after only seeing 103 minutes of action this past season for the RPI Engineers. The Winnipeg, MB native isn't looking back now, "All of a sudden, you have a season taken away from you," he added. "You realize how lucky you are to play hockey every year, and you can’t take that for granted." From the selection camp, 22 players will be chosen to face the United States’ Women’s Under-18 Select Team in a three-game series from Aug. 21-24 at the Markin MacPhail Centre. Longtime GDI Goaltender Kristen Campbell is among the 6 goaltenders selected.
