For the full schedule of games Click Here. ______________________________________________________________________________________ The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Corbin Boes of the Portland Winterhawks is the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week for the playoff week ending May 4 after posting a 2-0 record with a goals-against-average of 1.50 and save percentage of .952. Boes stopped 59 shots in the first two games of the WHL Championship Series for the Ed Chynoweth Cup helping the Winterhawks take a 2-0 series lead against the Edmonton Oil Kings. Boes made 31 saves in Game 1 on Saturday night as part of the 5-2 victory, then made 28 saves earning second star honours in the 3-1 victory in Game 2 on Sunday. Boes, a 20-year-old from Saskatoon, SK, is playing in his fourth WHL season and first with the Winterhawks after joining the team from the Lethbridge Hurricanes midway through the 2013-14 campaign. So far in the 2014 WHL Playoffs, Boes has a perfect 6-0 record with a goals-against-average of 1.73 and save percentage of .944.
