The NHL and Central Scouting have released their final rankings for the 2017/2018 Hockey Season.

Four GDI Goalies have found their name on that list for North American Goaltenders!

The NHL Entry Draft will be held on June 22–23, 2018, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

Matt Thiessen

Steinbach Pistons (MJHL)

Thiessen has enjoyed a strong rookie season with the Steinbach Pistons of the MJHL. 

During the regular season he appeared in 34 games with a ridiculous record of 28-3-1-0. His numbers are equally impressive with a 2.06 GAA, .923 Sv% and 2 shutouts.

Thiessen has been training with GDI through 1v1 Lessons and the G1 Off-Season Academy. He is also a graduate of the Rink Hockey Academy Nationals. GDI Director Dan Ferguson is the goaltending coach of the Steinbach Pistons.


Joel Hofer

Swift Current Broncos (WHL)

Joel made the jump this year to junior hockey with the WHL's Swift Current Broncos. Appearing in 19 games he went 8-3-1-1-1. He posted solid numbers with a 2.61 GAA, .914 Sv% and 1 shutout.

Hofer has trained with GDI through 1v1 Lessons and the G1 Off-Season Program. 


Max Paddock

Regina Pats (WHL)

Paddock was the backbone for the Regina Pats this season when injuries had forced him into the starting role. Max played 33 games for the Pats going 19-7-1-1-1. His numbers were great with a 2.90 GAA and .904 Sv%. 

Paddock has been training with GDI through 1v1 Lessons, Summer Camps, Prospect Clinics and the G1 Off-Season Program.


Duncan McGovern

Kootenay Ice (WHL)

In his first full season in the WHL, McGovern appeared in 35 games posting a record of 13-13-3-0-0 with 2 shutouts. He recorded a 3.11 GAA and .892 GAA. A early season trade from the Medicine Hat Tigers to the Kootenay Ice gave McGovern the oppurtunity to compete for a starting role.

McGovern has been training with GDI for years through 1v1 Lessons, Spring High Performance Sessions and the G1 Off-Season Program.
