THE CONFIDENCE WORKOUT

Ask a head coach what type of goaltender his team will need when it comes down to winning a championship in playoffs. Continually you will hear a coach come up with a goaltender that is confident... a goalie that pushes their team to be confident in front of them.   Now, how do we become confident? Many say that they are confident going into their next game but turn to falter in the end. The golden rule... "what you practice, you become."   Practice the following and start to become confident: 1. Talk to yourself and repeat positive thoughts in your mind 2. View big bold pictures in your mind. See images of your strengths. 3. Wake up for a reason. Have goals on your mind and be ready to accomplish them.   Soon you will start to find yourself automatically responding to new situations with states of confidence instead of fear, with self-belief instead of doubt.
