GRADUALLY BUILDING YOUR CONFIDENCE : It is close to impossible for many to jump into a 26 mile marathon without any training. The same can be said for building your confidence. It will be tough to be confident in the playoffs if you haven't gradually prepared to feel that way throughout the season... in the first round... Imagine your utmost confident self. How you have played in one of your best games. How your like to make saves - With control, full visual attachment. Now step into that more confident you and see through there eyes. Notice how you feel. It is important that this confidence comes from knowing your strengths. When you have had a poor performance it will help to relate back to your strengths and to invision that confident self and then stepping into that role and playing as that goaltender.
