Sacher Backstops Pats to a Saturday Night Win
After the high energy of the previous night’s games for both the Pats and Royals it took a bit for the players to get their legs under them. Rookie netminder Teagan Sacher was put to the test against Victoria who had just come off a shutout win against Everett. In this one Sach was peppered with 34 shots and was able to turn aside 32 of them. Along just one goal on 6 powerplays Sacher held on for the victory against the Royals as the Pats won by a score of 3-2. For the full stats of the game Click Here. Out shot 34-19 in the game the Pats goaltender saw his fair share of action. With this in mind he was awarded the games first star award. The Pats go head to head against Prince George next on Tuesday. Then later on Saturday they are back at home to face the Spokane Chiefs.
