The Steinbach Pistons scored three first period goals, holding on to defeat the OCN Blizzard 4-1 Sunday evening at the T.G. Smith Centre. In a game that saw over 100 shots get sent at the starting goaltenders, the Pistons were able to come out on top keeping their perfect home ice record intact. The Pistons are now 8-0 in downtown Steinbach. Veteran 20-Year old netminder Zach Rakochy helped backstop the Pistons to a victory in this one with a total of 41 saves. Currently Rakochy holds a 6-1 record with a 2.30 GAA and a .936 SV%.
