Make sure you stay sharp throughout the spring with GDI 1v1 lessons. The month of April is starting to fill up for 1v1 sessions at the centre.
We are open from 3:30pm-9:30pm
during the week and 10:00am-2:00pm / 3:00pm-7:00pm
Saturdays and 10:00am-3:00pm
To make sure you secure your spots throughout April, we suggest signing up for your 1v1 sessions well in advance!

Brown And Pats Force Game 7
Tyler Brown and the Regina Pats have forced a 7th and deciding game with the Memorial Cup hosts.
Brown and the Pats left no doubt that their Eastern Conference Semi final series would be going the distance Sunday night.
The Pats kept the pedal to the metal and cruised to a 5-1 win over the visiting Red Deer Rebels.
Brown finished the night with 20 saves for the Pats.
Game 7 will go down Tuesday night in Red Deer.

Brown has been training with GDI for many years through 1v1 lessons, GDI Prospect Clinics and the Total GDI Academy.
Pistons Stay Alive After Game 4 Win
The Steinbach Pistons avoided elimination after a convincing 6-2 win over the Portage Terriers.
Roman Bengert was solid between the pipes turning aside 33 shots including 14 in the second frame. Bengert and the Pistons were also perfect on the penalty kill, killing off all three Terrier power plays.
Bengert was rewarded by being named the second star of the game.
Game 5 will go Tuesday night in Portage.
Bengert has trained with GDI through 1v1 lessons and team consulting. GDI Director Dan Ferguson is also the goaltending coach for the Steinbach Pistons.
RHA Nationals Announce Head Coaches
The Rink Hockey Academy have announced their coaching staff for the 2016-17 Canadian Sport School Hockey League season.
Rob Smith has been named head coach of the Midget Prep team, while Brad Purdie has been named head coach of the Bantam Prep team.
The Rink Hockey Academy (RHA), based out of Winnipeg, MB, will begin its first season in the CSSHL during the 2016-17 season.
“As an organization we are very excited to have both Rob and Brad lead our Prep teams,” said RHA general manager, Ryan Cyr. “Being able to surround our players with coaches that have the experience that both guys bring is extremely valuable and unique at the Bantam and Midget level. As an Education and Development first organization we feel that Brad and Rob’s passion and commitment will allow our players to be in an environment to succeed both in the classroom and on the ice.”
Born in Steinbach, MB, Smith spent three years playing Major Junior hockey for the Calgary Hitmen and Brampton Battalion. From there, Smith played four full seasons with the University of Manitoba Bisons. His final two years with the Bisons he was named captain of the team. After his university career he played professional hockey in Germany and in North America. Upon completion of his playing career,
Smith started coaching in the Winnipeg AAA system. After one year he joined the Steinbach Pistons of the MJHL as an assistant general manager and assistant coach. Smith was also an assistant coach for the bronze medal winning U-16 Manitoba team at the 2015 Canada Games.
After a 15 year professional playing career, including the IHL, and Europe, as well as representing Team Canada on three different occasions, Purdie retired and joined the University of Manitoba Men’s Hockey coaching staff. Over the last four seasons with the U of M, Purdie was responsible for overseeing the forwards and power play. Purdie has a High Performance 1 coaching certificate and has worked with Hockey Manitoba and the Program of Excellence U16 on three separate occasions, most recently as the head coach of the 2015 team that took part 2015 Western Canada Bantam Challenge, capturing the silver medal. Purdie was also a part of the coaching staff that won Bronze at the 2015 Canada Winter Games.
