The Steinbach Pistons took to the streets during Tuesday's noon-hour, walking to city hall for an official send-off as the team now prepares to represent Steinbach and the province at the Western Canada Cup in Nanaimo, British Colombia this weekend. "The city is so excited for what they have done for our community and what they're going to be doing on their next road to the cup in Nanamio," says Steinbach's Mayor Chris Goertzen. The event wasn't open to the general public, but the Pistons gave local fans a chance to cheer. They suited up with their jersey's and made the walk down Reimer. Many of the local businesses took the opportunity to show their support. For more on this article visit Steinbach Online and Click Here.
