Pushing out 35 shots this wasn't an easy "perfect game" by the normal standard.   Over the past four years Lotz has trained at GDI. Going through hours of goaltender specific training with 1v1 consulting and the Total GDI Academy in the off-season he has been one student that has stayed dedicated and goal focused as he has moved through his hockey career. In addition to training at GDI, Lotz also had a large part of his time taken up by training off the ice at Elite Performance. For two summers he trained 5+ days for approximately 3-4 months of the off-season to stay in shape.
