A superhuman effort by Everett Silvertips goaltender Austin Lotz was made moot by the penalty shot that beat him. Lotz made 65 saves but he was beat by Cole Ully's penalty shot in overtime that lifted the Kamloops Blazers to a 4-3 victory in Western Hockey League play Wednesday. Ully, who also scored in regulation, was granted the penalty shot after Silvertips defenceman Ben Betker was sent off for tripping just 1:17 into overtime. Lotz meanwhile was stellar from the start, blanking the Blazers through a first period where Everett was outshot 29-6 but still lead 2-0. For more info Click Here.
