Sunday night 3 GDI Goalies went to work.

In WHL action the Seattle Thunderbirds faced off against the Spokane Chiefs. In-between the pipes for Seattle was longtime GDI Goalie Logan Flodell. The 1997-born Regina native pushed aside 52 of 53 shots on the night. The Chiefs went 1 for 10 on the Powerplay. Peppered by the Chiefs unfortunately for Flodell his squad couldn't muster a goal against Hughson and Verhelst. Veteran Hughson didn't see much action as he stopped a low 3 shots. In addition, Verhelst stopped 16/16.   All three goaltenders in action in this game have trained extensively with GDI Goaltending over the last several years. Hughson has trained in 1v1 training sessions while playing with the Chiefs while Verhelst has taken part in the Off-Season Total GDI Academy along with countless 1v1 sessions. Flodell trained with GDI Goaltending in Regina through a GDI Summer Camp at a young age. After he has gone through many 1v1 training sessions. The staff at GDI would like to wish all the best to each goaltender as the pre-season continues!
